Construction on Mountain Om Yoga Studio is on its way Fall 2007

May 2007 my husband and I realized a dream and purchased a building in Mountainhome PA to house our two businesses.   We had been looking for over 2 years for the perfect place.  It turns out this set up is a perfect fit.  Although I am sure everyone was sad to see to see the old business “The Other Woman” retire from the community, we promise after some polishing up and TLC to bring this building back to life.

Mountain Om Yoga Studio will be located on the left side in what use to be a garage that stored antiques for the prior business owner.  My husband will move our family business www.PoconoFireplacePlace.com into the right side.  We also hope to host a community Farm Market during the summer months. 

We are working hard to get the place ready for our grand opening in 2008!  Please keep checking back to see the progress.  I will post more pictures soon.

Spring 2008

As the refurbishing and construction phase of our space is nearing its end.  The universe has lead us into new directions, not even imagined over a year ago.  But isn’t life like that for most of us.

Mountain Om Studio is officially open.  Please come check out our many classes and Workshops offered.  The Yoga community is growing and we have been blessed with space that is truly a sacred sanctuary.

This spring, I have partnered with Daniela Rivera Massage Therapist, Katherine Collopy Esthetician/Manicurist and Lani Culley Holistic Health Counselor to create an entire team of Wellness Professionals working out of our common center for Wellbeing.  We are all incredibility excited to support our community in health and wellness. Watch for our grand opening celebration scheduled for July.

In addition, I am working on creating a Friday Farmers’ Market here in Mountainhome to run through  June 15– Sept 30.  We have a core interest of venders to date.  Send us a blessing as we try to realize this much needed resource for our community.

My husband is still working to set-up his Fireplace, Stove and Construction shop here at our site.  He has prioritized much of my needs first to get Mountain Om Studio up and running.  The stone work you see as you pass by our building is only a fraction of the transformation he made to the inside of the building.  He is truly an amazing craftsmen.
