What does forgiving look like? It looks like giving yourself grace, processing heartache and letting the negative feelings go so that the positive occupies more of our bandwidth. As much as our hurt wants to justify resentment, we forget that we’re actually causing more harm to our bodies and hearts when we don't forgive. Let's get light after unloading our heavy burdens. Take a break from the negative and reap the benefits of an improved immune system, lower blood pressure, healthier relationships, and less depression. Do this for yourself, not them. They never had that much power anyway.
